TRPM4 blocker / CBA is a selective blocker of TRPM4 channels (IC50 = 1.5 mM) with no activity at TRPM5, TRPM7, TRPM8, TRPV1, TRPV3, TRPV6 and a panel of other ion channels and receptors.1 Displays protective effects in murine experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and in a model of glutamate-induced neuronal degeneration.2 A highly useful tool for exploring the functions of TRM4 in a variety of cell types.3,4
