IHH, human recombinant
Indian Hedgehog (IHH) is a developmental factor found in the gut, cartilage and bones of an embryo. IHH acts through the patched (PTC) receptor and induces transcriptional changes important for bone development and include the up regulation of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHRP). IHH is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 177 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 20 kDa.
