• Applications:δ-Toxin is produced by S. aureus and is translated from the RNAIII transcript, a key player of the staphylococcal quorum sensing system (agr). δ-Toxin is a major virulence factor of S. aureus and primarily causes cytolysis in red and white blood cells.
