Fluorescent beads (10.5 ± 0.26 micron) suspended in an isotonic buffered solution (pH 7.4) with 0.02% Tween-20 are detected by the FITC (FL1), PE (FL2), and PE-Cy5 (FL3) channels of a flow cytometer when excited by a 488nm laser and by the V450 (448/45) and V500 (528/45) channels when excited by a 405nm laser. AimCount Beads are designed to be used as a reference for counting the absolute cell number by flow cytometry.
