SA4503 is a potent and selective sigma 1 agonist with σ1 IC50 = 17.4 nM and σ2 IC50 = 1784 nM (1). This compound has been investigated as a cognition enhancer (2,3), an antidepressant (4,5), as an anti-addiction agent (6), and as a neuroprotectant (7-10).
