Purified full-length glycoprotein from A/Vietnam/1203/2004 (H5N1). The theoretical molecular weight of the protein is ~64 kDa, without glycosylation. Because of the highly glycosylated nature of this protein, migration in an SDS-PAGE gel is slowed resulting in broad, diffuse bands representing differing glycosylation forms. Residual baculovirus GP64 co-purifies with the affinity purified rHA GP and was determined to be less the 25% of the total protein.
